Code of Practice for:
The Safe Installation of Precast Concrete Flooring and Associated Components

In November 2017 the Precast Flooring Federation published its fourth edition of the Code of Practice for the Safe Installation of Precast Concrete Flooring and Associated Components. All clients, contractors and designers choosing precast concrete floors should specify the use of the Code of Practice as a means of meeting their obligations under the CDM regulations. This audited Code of Practice is one of many initiatives covering health and safety, sustainability and quality.

A pocket-sized abridged version, with an extensive print run, has been produced for the first time to accompany the new fourth edition. The pocket-sized version summarises the key elements of the Code of Practice and is intended for site operatives and supervisors to use as an aide-memoire when installing precast concrete floors.
